Hot Water and Gas Calls - When To Transfer To Debbie

Hey guys,

So as most of you know, we have different queues now.

There is a queue dedicated to gas and water heater services.

Debbie is the first person in this queue – so if she’s available, she’ll get the calls first.

But she’s often calling customers back that she’s been dealing with and closing sales – so she’s often not available.

If we just send calls to her voicemail, we’re going to lose out on a lot of work.

So I’ve put some of you into this queue behind her, and here’s how it’s going to work.

If it’s just a gas service, book it like you would for a plumbing service call on the plumbers. Easy.

If the customer asks a lot of questions or is pushing about prices or anything like that, then let them know that the gas manager is currently on a call, but you’ll transfer them through and they can leave a voicemail which will be responded to very quickly.

Use good judgment. If you can book it on Mukaley, just book it. But if there are many questions or prices or phone quotes involved, then transfer them over.
